Organizing Dies and Matching Stamps

My Heartfelt Creations Stamps and dies collections started to overflow the storage box. So I decided to organize it in a Box folder. The newer stamp sets came with a laminated storage sheet with binder holes ,easy to store in the folder. The older stamps and dies came in just covers, so I laminated plain white A4 sheet and punched 2 holes with crop-a-dile. The cling stamps stuck very well to the laminated sheets. As for the dies I got thin magnetic sheets with sticky back from Itsy Bitsy ,stuck it to the laminated sheet. Now all the stamps and the coordinating dies are organized and easy to use.

Added couple of file folders to keep extra die-cuts.
Total cost for this folder is Rs.500(INR)

Lady with a Pretty Hat Card

Lady with a pretty hat.....This project started with a picture from a very old craft magazine. I searched for the template online but since it was very old I couldn't find the brand or the name for the template.
I traced the image part by part, then with the help of Cricut design space I attached all parts to form the lady.....had fun doing it.

With the help of the Cricut Explore I cut out all the pieces. Inked the edges with Tim Holtz Vintage Distress Inkpad. The flowers are made with Heartfelt Creations Botanical Rose stamp and die set.

Candy Card

Shadow box card.....simple and easy to make.....the size of the card is 5 1/2 inch square. I used double sided card to make this shadow box.

The most fun part is to create the candy....Cricut had a cracker template.....re-sized the cracker to 2.5 inch  x .75 inch....had a hard time to fold all the score lines since it was so tiny. The word Sweet was also cut from Cricut , added a heart to make it a SWEETHEART!!  Final touch - bow, rhinestones and 3D glitter.
Now the card is ready
Sweet for My Sweetheart :)!!!!

Cheery Lynn Design Team call

Made this card for the Cheery Lynn DT call.
Since I planned to use more CLD dies I created 2 layer card.

Bottom Layer
Started with 6 x 6 square card, layered with beautiful pink shimmering handmade paper. Diecut 2 doilies and aligned on the corners.Added some rhinestones and the sentiment is from Cricut.

Now comes the interesting part....
Top Layer
Created a layer with Acetate, which also gives the card a nice glossy effect. Added a nice Big Bow in the middle with a cameo. For one corner I used Victorian romance flourish with some half pearls.

Each and every roses were handmade, instead of leaves I added green roses :)

Victorian Romance Flourish - DL151

Jack "Na" Flower in the box

YAY!!!! I got my Cricut Explore after a long long research and comparison. For the first cut I wanted it to be simple and straight....so I chose a box with straight edges. The cuts were very crisp and clean, much much better than my cricut expression. The size of the box is 2.5 inch.

For the topper I used Cheerylynn Polynesian sails Mini doily die and flower cutouts from an old greeting card. Added glitter and glaze to the flower to give a glossy effect.

Made a double bow and added a small ribbon flower bunch which I got from an old hair clip and for the closure I used magnet.

Now for the surprise
"Pop goes the Flower"

The rose was made with Tim holtz flower die with little sparkle from wink of Stella. For the spring I used 2 one inch strips.

And one more thing the pop up flower is removable, used Velcro to attach it to the base. Ideal for small gifts.
