Lots of Sparkle

Hi Everyone.....Lets begin the year with lots of sparkle.This year brought lot of changes in my life ....I moved from India to US,setting up my craftroom ....once again getting into the rhythm of blogging.Hoping to post all my past works.

Now lets get to the card.

This card was made a long time back for a blog challenge.Challenge was about adding lots of sparkle.

Stencil from Tim Holtz.....stenciled the texture paste onto the card and added clear glitter to it.

Diamond was cut out from Cricut and added a glitter paper to the back , raised it  with foam dots.

Christmas Gifts

Simply create too blog challenge "Christmas in July"

Simple gifts for Teachers during holiday season.Created the cut file for the mug and snowflake with Cricut design space. Made a pocket with  the mug, added Hot Chocolate and spoon.Tag from studio-g stamp.

Beach Card.

This Month Challenge at Eclectic Ellapu is Life's a Beach theme. I planned to go with a fun card so I chose my cute whale stamp. For the sand embossed kraft card.Waves were cut out from cricut explore.Added glitter to the waves and colored the heart and the sun.Stamped the sentiment with Archival ink before embossing.

Lady in Pink

This lady was created for Simply Create Too blog challenge for the month of April and the theme was Ladies Only. For the background embossed the black card with and embossing folder which was a free gift from a magazine.Rubbed white Gelatos on the top to give that pop up look.Matted it to the Pink Card.As for the lady and the rose... found the image online, cut it out with Cricut Explore.Added pearl and glitter to finish it off.

Carnival Card

Hi Friends....its been quite some time I updated my blog....getting back from my vacation mode is the hard part,but I have lots of projects to share.

This is a carnival card made for Eclectic Ellapu card challenge.....the horse was cutout with my favorite cricut machine.Found these Alphabets tags in my stash and added them to a ribbon.Finished the card with pearls and glitter.

Good Luck card

Simple Good Luck Card.....specially made this is card for my daughter who is writing her exams this month.Clovers were made Cricut Explore and the background with We R Memory Keeper 3D embossing folder.

Heart N Heart Card

At Simply Create Too the challenge this month is 

Love / Valentine

I started with the center heart for both the cards.

I found this simple pic of heart gem on the web, with the help of Design Space I converted it into a cut file.

As the background added rows of  hearts and added the sentiment with Cricut (cricut wrote for me :)).For the finishing touch added glitter to it.

As for the second card the center heart was made with music background stamp. Long time ago I remember seeing this embellishment somewhere(no idea whether in a store or web)so just tried to recreate it. 

I used the same writing and the cutout hearts from the previous card to create this card background.

Celebrate Card

Happy New year to All!!!!

I'm starting this year with a celebration card for 

SCT blog challenge "Party time"

Created the frame with balloons attached to it with Design Space. Need more support for the frame so added a transparent film behind the frame.Took a  4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card attached a glitter golden paper to it. with the help of foam dots stuck the frame to the card . Added a bow and a label with celebrate stamped on it

Witch's Potion

I'm back after disappearing for sometime.....reason for vanishing is Decoupage......very soon I'll update all my projects.....

My project for Eclectic Ellapu Halloween Challenge.

I found a Potion Bottle SVG online but unfortunately I could'nt use that file so I created a potion bottle box with Cricut design Space (awesome software).For the frame I added a transparent film at the back to give a little more dimension. Thinking of putting MM inside.

Lady In Red - Eclectic Ellapu Challenge

This card is made for a picture Inspiration Challenge at Eclectic Ellapu Blog. The lady stamp is from the Docrafts Papermania Art Deco collections.The background frame and the feather are cut out from Cricut machine.

Mom's Love - Simply Create Too Challenge

Challenge of this month for Simply Create Too Blog is

"Pretty Woman"

For this challenge I chose to do a card for Mother's Day. I googled for the center image and found this silhouette of a mother and child, with the help of the Cricut I cut out the image and the sentiment. 

Built the card around the image and for the frame I used Spellbinders Blooming Collection.

 My teammate commented on the card saying "The softness of it makes one think of the tenderness and love a women has to offer!!!!". Very very true...after finishing the card I felt such a joy and pride to be a mother.

Happy Mother's Day To All The Wonderful Mothers!!!!

Peacock Delight

Square card with simply beautiful peacock stamp from Heartfelt Creation.Stamped the peacock on vellum and embossed it with white embossing powder, colored it from back.I backed the vellum with with white card.This time I tried off setting the Spellbinders Blooming Collections frame and it gave a different look. The sentiments were cutout from Cricut Explore.

Gate Fold Card - Eclectic Ellapu Challenge

Hi Everyone!!!

This month Purple Team challenge for  Eclectic Ellapu is April Showers /Spring Flowers.The base, Iron gate and the vines were done with Cricut Explore.The Flowers are from Heartfelt Creations Botanical Rose, colored them with gelatos. Then sprayed the entire flower with spray glue and dipped it in the glitter.The Butterfly is also from Heartfelt Creations.

Lady with a Pretty Hat Card

Lady with a pretty hat.....This project started with a picture from a very old craft magazine. I searched for the template online but since it was very old I couldn't find the brand or the name for the template.

I traced the image part by part, then with the help of Cricut design space I attached all parts to form the lady.....had fun doing it.

With the help of the Cricut Explore I cut out all the pieces. Inked the edges with Tim Holtz Vintage Distress Inkpad.The flowers are made with Heartfelt Creations Botanical Rose stamp and die set.

Lime Card - Simply Create Too

Hello everyone! This week's challenge at Simply Create Too is 

"ST.PATRICK'S DAY/MOSTLY GREEN" 
Since I'm not familiar with St.Patrick's day.... I did mostly green card.

Summer begins ....so here is my card for the season.Green, Green Lime pattern paper for my background. I loved the way the ribbon turned out, found this video on the YouTube for pleated ribbon, used Scortape to stick it. The Lime and sentiment are cutout from 
Cricut Explore.

Candy Card

Shadow box card.....simple and easy to make.....the size of the card is 5 1/2 inch square. I used double sided card to make this shadow box.

The most fun part is to create the candy....Cricut had a cracker template.....re-sized the cracker to 2.5 inch  x .75 inch....had a hard time to fold all the score lines since it was so tiny. The word Sweet was also cut from Cricut , added a heart to make it a SWEETHEART!!  Final touch - bow, rhinestones and 3D glitter.

Now the card is ready

Sweet for My Sweetheart :)!!!!
