Jack "Na" Flower in the box

YAY!!!! I got my Cricut Explore after a long long research and comparison. For the first cut I wanted it to be simple and straight....so I chose a box with straight edges. The cuts were very crisp and clean, much much better than my cricut expression. The size of the box is 2.5 inch.

For the topper I used Cheerylynn Polynesian sails Mini doily die and flower cutouts from an old greeting card. Added glitter and glaze to the flower to give a glossy effect.

Made a double bow and added a small ribbon flower bunch which I got from an old hair clip and for the closure I used magnet.

Now for the surprise
"Pop goes the Flower"

The rose was made with Tim holtz flower die with little sparkle from wink of Stella. For the spring I used 2 one inch strips.

And one more thing the pop up flower is removable, used Velcro to attach it to the base. Ideal for small gifts.

Celebration

Wishing all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
First challenge of the year 2015 for the Simply create
too blog is "Let Celebrate".

For our house party I planned to make a box for my yummy plum cake. The box was made with A 4 size card. Added the Spellbinders Majestic label 25 on the box, stamped the sentiment with Pearl blue Archival ink. Punched out the Cheerylynn Sweet William Flowers and gave it a little  sparkle with glitters.Added the pollens under the flower to give more dimension.

Made a matching card for the box, instead of flower I added couple of snowflakes with glitter.
